Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gracie Barra Derby) was founded in 2007 and officially opened by Braulio Estima at the home of Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on Haslams Lane, Derby.
Ever since the conception of Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu we have been training hard and dominating competitions.
Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has created champions and well respected competitors around the U.K and has even produced a World Champion and a European Champion.
Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is governed by Sensei Patrick Martin who is a 5th Dan in Traditional Jujitsu and is currently working his way through the Brazilian ranks under the guidance of Braulio Estima (3 times World Champion).
