The home of Gracie Barra Derby, offering coaching in this exciting ground fighting martial art.
As a beginner at Derby BJJ Academy, you’ll discover the fundamentals of BJJ with us. For advanced competitors, we’ll help you to further your expertise in the sport. Chose from classes in the gi (traditional BJJ uniform) or no gi submission grappling, where you'll study a wide variety of techniques and put them into practice during sparring.
Part of the respected Gracie Barra network and under the umbrella of world champions Bráulio and Victor Estima, we are home to a dedicated and successful team that has medalled at the European, Pan-American and World championships – the highest levels of BJJ competition. And at Derby BJJ Academy you get to train alongside them and learn from them.
In addition to our group sessions, private lessons are also available with our purple belt instructors, Patrick and Stephen Martin.
